Why Human Matter-s?

The future of work is no longer about efficiency but about imagination. As AI takes over what’s predictable, the real challenge for organizations is keeping their people curious, creative, and connected. Human Matter-s helps leaders create cultures where technology supports humanity, and where people feel inspired to build, connect, and grow.

In a world reshaped by automation, burnout, and constant change, most workplaces have forgotten what they were built for: people. Today, 68% of employees report feeling emotionally disconnected at work, and over 80% are at risk of burnout. Productivity may look stable on paper, but innovation, loyalty, and creativity are quietly eroding beneath the surface.

Human Matter-s was created to change that. Founded by Professor Zinka Bejtic, PhD, an award-winning educator, researcher, and design-leadership expert, Human Matter-s brings a new philosophy to the future of work, one that puts empathy, creativity, and purpose back at the center of performance.

Why companies need this now

AI is replacing what’s predictable. What remains irreplaceable are the human qualities that machines can’t mimic—intuition, imagination, empathy, and emotional intelligence.

Yet, most organizations unintentionally suppress them through outdated systems, hierarchies, and cultures of overwork. The result?

  • Rising turnover and disengagement

  • Loss of innovation and creativity

  • Declining well-being and emotional exhaustion

  • A generation of employees seeking purpose and belonging elsewhere

If your people don’t feel seen, inspired, and connected, they won’t stay. And when they leave, your culture, memory, and future go with them.

Our solution: build cultures where people thrive

Human Matter-s transforms workplaces into ecosystems of creativity, empathy, and growth. We help leaders and teams unlock their full human potential through immersive programs that blend design thinking, emotional intelligence, and behavioral transformation.

Our approach begins at the top, because transformation must start with leadership. Through our workshops and masterclasses, we equip executives, HR professionals, and teams to reshape their organizational culture — leading to measurable, lasting impact such as:

  • Lower turnover and absenteeism

  • Significant drop in burnout and fatigue

  • Higher engagement and workplace satisfaction

  • Healthier, more emotionally intelligent cultures

  • Stronger trust between leaders and teams

  • More women in leadership roles

  • Alignment between personal purpose and company vision

  • A shift toward human-centered, trust-based leadership

  • Teams that adapt quickly and thrive through change

  • Consistent growth in collaboration and idea generation

  • A renewed sense of belonging and pride at work

  • Improved company culture and sustained organizational success
